Service Delivery

The Co-operative delivers its Housing Management Service from our offices at the Forgewood Community Centre, 49 Dinmont Crescent. Services include: Rents, Repairs, Maintenance, Alterations, Adaptations and Tenant Participation.

Apply For A House - New Tenant

Anyone over the age of 16 can apply for a house, however, there are rarely enough houses available to satisfy demand and a waiting list is in operation. Houses are allocated on need and the Co-operative operates a points system to assess the needs of the applicant. For further information you can read our Allocations policy and download our Housing Application form. Return the form to us at the above address when completed. Successful applicants will be offered a Scottish Secure Tenancy.

Apply For Rehousing - Existing Tenant

As an existing tenant you may find that you need to be rehoused at some point in the future if your current property does not meet your housing need ie: overcrowding, under-occupancy, medical reasons etc. There are a number of options available such as: Internal Transfer, Mutual Exchange and Homeswap.
