Paying Your Rent

All tenants were sent letters in February 2008 advising of the 5% rental Increase due to commence on 1 April 2008.  Please ensure that you have amended your payments by this time and if you pay by standing order, you must advise your bank of the new amount to be paid.
Forgewood Housing Co-operative charges rent on a four weekly basis, payable in advance.
Rents are reviewed on an annual basis and tenants are consulted around November on the following year’s review. At least 28 days notice is given to tenants of any increase before it is imposed.

Many people have difficulty paying rent at some time. If you have difficulty in paying rent, please contact your housing officer.  Click this link to read The Co-operative’s Rent Arrears policy.

If you think you may be entitled to Housing Benefit, you should contact Forgewood Housing Co-operative on 01698 263311
